Romarantin from 20-40 year old vines grown in the tiny Cour-Cheverny appellation. Grapes were pressed directly and undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel with native yeasts followed by 10 months in demi-muids and another 5 months in concrete. No fining or filtering, with a touch of sulphur at bottling. Concentrated and vibrant with an intense nose of yellow fruits and a touch of oxidation. It's dense and complex but still very fresh with notes of quince, apricot, tea and minerals.
