Hughes-Béguet Oh Yeah!
Grapes: Savagnin, Chardonnay
Patrice Béguet of Domaine Hughes-Béguet has just under 5 hectares of vines in Arbois. He is committed to biodynamic viticulture, sowing wild flowers, legumes and native fruits between the vines, and also keeps bees to encourage biodiversity. Fermented with wild yeasts and made with minimal intervention in the cellar, Patrice's wines are always captivating and memorable interpretations of the Jura terroir.
Mostly Savagnin and then some chardonnay, made in a 'topped up' Jura style which means less of the nutty, savouriness and a bit more citrus with the classic regional sea spray, saline mineral characters. Delicious.
