Ideal Day is a farm brewery in Cornwall run by esteemed brewer James Rylance focused on three things: family (it’s in the name), beer (also, kind of in the name) and regenerative agriculture (bet you didn’t see that one coming).

First Steps is an 'Ester Beer', a celebration of the complexity and nuance of flavours produced by expressive yeasts in fermentation. As brewers, our role is to create the colour palette that can then be transformed by micro flora into something far greater and more delicious than the sum of its parts.
