As a founding member of Beaujolais’ legendary ‘Gang of Four,’ Jean Foillard took over his family’s Morgon estate in 1980 and completely rewrote the rulebook for wine production in Beaujolais, favouring ancient vines and low intervention winemaking where high-yielding young vines and chemical additions were the norm.

Jean's Fleurie is obtained from three magnificent terroirs across the village. Matured in foudres, it has a beautiful nose of red cranberries, wild strawberries and plums over a floral background that is slightly herbaceous and caramelised. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and wonderful length.
