Nacho Gonzales of La Perdida is a biologist by trade, starting down the road of natural winemaking when his grandmother bequeathed him a single gnarly old vineyard, O Trancado. He now works six previously abandoned old plots which he has nurtured back to health, vinifying the grapes with minimal intervention in his tiny cellar in the town of Larouco.

Malas Uvas is a field blend of hand-harvested Palomino and Dona Branca from a single vineyard in the next village over. Fermented in traditional tinajas (clay amphorae) with a week on skins, it's mineral and saline with floral aromas of jasmine and chamomile cut trough with citrus acidity.
