Le Coste Le Primeur
Clementine Bouveron and Gianmarco Antonuzzi make wine in the volcanic, iron rich soils of northern Lazio. They have around 14 hectares of land with vineyards interspersed with olive groves and chestnut trees. All work in the vineyards is done by hand and the wines are made with minimal intervention in the winery.
Primeur is Aleatico that underwent carbonic maceration for a couple of weeks, before being pressed off to rest in vat until Spring. Intensely perfumed with heady aromas of exotic flowers and spice, dark fruit underneath and touches of dried Mediterranean herbs.
