Maison Skyaasen is a micro-negociant in Burgundy started by a Norwegian (Joakim) and San Franciscan (Olivia) who met at university in Vermont before moving to Burgundy in 2017. Made in miniscule quantities, these are refined, complex Burgundies that belie the young age of the estate.

Les Grandes Gouttes is Chardonnay from a parcel of 50 year old vines on the southern border of Meursault, right above Puligny. The grapes are hand-harvested and pressed into 228L barrels, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged on the lees for 12 months before bottling unfined and unfiltered with a small sulphur addition.
