Marco Turco Supernova
Marco Turco's Venetian wines are about as natural as they come. This is his funky, savoury col fondo (with lees) sparkling wine made from the local Vespaiola grape that is macerated on skins for 3 days. Before bottling some of the original grape must is added back in to provide the fuel for the second fermentation in bottle. Fragrant and enticing with lychee and passion fruit aromas supported by some white flower notes. Nicely textured on the palate with some grip on the finish from the skin contact.
