The Passito by Massa Vecchia is a fascinating nectar made from Aleatico grapes carefully dried on a rack to concentrate sugars and flavours. There are notes of creme caramel, dried fruit, raspberry jam and sweet spices. The palate is soft and silky, and there's plenty of lovely wild acidity to balance the full body and sweetness.
