Matt Gregory is an English winemaker working with Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Solaris and Bacchus that he grows in the Leicestershire Wolds. The emphasis is on careful grape handling and extended infusion macerations with the aim of creating wines that allow that sense of place to show through in a very hands off way. 

Matt's Red is a beautiful blend of equal-parts Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. 2022 was a brilliant year for ripening, so he produced the red in the infusion style, with two thirds of the Pinot Gris being pressed directly to top up the tank of destemmed Pinot Noir and remaining Pinot Gris. With brambly red fruits, fleshy stone fruit, and a touch of spice, it's ideal for Autumn drinking.
