Nicolas Jacob was born and raised in the Jura, and after gaining experience with Laurent Macle of the esteemed Domaine Macle followed by a stint with Jean-Francois Ganevat, ventured out on his own in 2015 with a single hectare of vines in l'Etoile. He now has around 5 hectares of Chardonnay, Savagnin, Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau, all of which are farmed with minimal intervention.

Poulsard from vines planted in the 1980s in Liassic marl soils. Delicately extracted yet deceptively powerful. This is wonderfully fragrant with sweet red cherries and strawberries, blood orange and touches of forest floor.
