Offbeat Skinny Dip
Offbeat is the West Country based winemaking project of Daniel Ham which began in 2018. Daniel works as naturally as possible with hybrid varieties suited to the English climate, ferments are wild and little if any sulphur is used. Production is small with only 2,000 bottles of each cuvee made.
Skinny Dip is made from Solaris grapes grown organically in Devon. Fermented wild in amphora with 3 months on skins before a further 10 months to rest on the lees in stainless steel, it's a delicate and open orange wine with poached pear, citrus zest and pronounced mint aromas.
