Lori Haon of Petit Oratoire is a young winemaker with 15 hectares of vines in the Gard, where he settled after learning his trade with stints in Burgundy, Alsace and Champagne. He works organically in the vineyard and follows up with a minimal intervention approach in the cellar, avoiding sulphur or other additions.

Gratte Conil is the historic vineyard name for Lori's cherished co-planted parcel whose grapes are usually destined for the Copains Blanc. However he felt this vintage was an upgrade to the Copains and warranted a new label. Direct, Saline, with layers of developing complexity.
