Pierre Weber Le Pet Nat
Grapes: Chardonnay, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc
Pierre Weber is based in the small village of Husseren-les-Châteaux that sits at one of the highest elevations in Alsace. He works just under 4 hectares of vines that he inherited from his grandfather that are scattered down the steep clay and limestone slopes near his home.
This is his pet-nat made from Chardonnay, Sylvaner and Pinot Blanc macerated on skins for 3 days. A generous, ripe fruited wine with fleshy peach and apricot aromas, baking spices and a wonderful mouth-coating texture.
