Pilton In Touch
Somerset based Pilton make whole juice sparkling cider using the old English method of keeving, an artisan method for making naturally sweetened cider. The apples are collected from traditional cider orchards in and around the parish of Pilton and ferment slowly for six months in a cool Victorian era cellar before bottling.
In Touch is an orchard blend of bittersweet cider apples with Pinot Noir grape skins made in collaboration with ex-Clapton Craft manager Martyn Goodwin-Sharman. Plenty of fresh ripe fruit on the nose with drying grape tannins and touches of red berries on the finish.
