Moving to Tuscany in 2008, Marta Sierota decided to work with the beautiful, abandoned vineyards that surrounded her new home. The estate is in the small village of Usigliano, nestled in the heart of the Pisan hills. Today it covers 17 hectares of which seven are vineyards. 

Gava Gai is 100% Canaiolo, a grape native to Tuscany but usually given a supporting role to the more illustrious Sangiovese. A red fruit nose of dried cranberry, raspberry and cherry with hints of flowers, leather and wild herbs giving plenty of complexity.
