He spent 7 years working with winemaker Eric Pfifferling at \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDomaine de L’Anglore and\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eprior to that assisted \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMatthieu Vallée at Château Yvonne. Romain works, mostly, with Carignan, Grenache and Syrah, and vinifies in old wood using little to no sulphur. Vibrant, pure and brimming with energy, Romain's wines are about drinkability but with an underlying power that justifies the comparison to L'Anglore. Incredible and extremely limited wines, from a rising star in the South of France.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"rte accordion-content\"\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Carignan. 16-17 day carbonic maceration, direct press then 10 months aging in barrique.
