Grapes: Arneis, Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo
After a severe winter a couple of years ago, three quarters of Evan Lewandowski's vines were decimated, leaving only a tiny amount of fruit from the block. With such a small volume he made the decision to experiment with a red and white co-fermentation, and thank goodness he did. This is a bright, lively blend of Arneis, Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo that is beyond chuggable.
Aromas of raspberry, watermelon and hay, with liquorice characteristics, grippy tannins and minerality.
