Salvatore Marino Turi Rosso
Grapes: Nero d'Avola
Salvatore Marino makes just 3,500 bottle of wine a year from indigenous Sicilian varieties Nero d"Avola and Catarratto in Contrada Buonivini, in the south-west of the island. The vines are worked organically and harvested by hand and the wines bottled without filtration.
This is Salvatore's Nero d'Avola bursting with wild herb, sour cherry and baked earth aromas. Medium-bodied on the palate with a pleasant silkiness and a long invigorating finish.
