Simon Busser Merlot
Simon learnt winemaking with Olivier Cousin in the Loire. He took his learning back to his father’s vineyards in the South West where he now works his small vineyard area by horse and employs organic techniques.
This is his inky and powerful Merlot made from organic Cahors grapes. Concentrated, sun drenched red and black fruit with a hint of forest floor adding complexity. Full and spicy on the finish with surprising freshness.
