Villa Spoiano is an historic organic estate located in Barberino Tavarnelle, midway between Florence and Siena in the heart of Chianti, Tuscany. The estate practices sustainable and organic farming across its vineyards, prioritising minimal intervention and low chemical use to reflect the unique Tuscan terroir. 

Sotto la Villa is a single-vineyard red named after the vineyard situated directly beneath the Medici-era Spoiano villa, and is the estate's top-tier Super-Tuscan. Primarily Sangiovese blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, it underwent extended barrel and bottle ageing to create a full-bodied and structured wine with notes of ripe black cherry, cassis, plum, earthy leather, Mediterranean herbs, and subtle sweet tobacco spice.
