Villa Spoiano is an historic organic estate located in Barberino Tavarnelle, midway between Florence and Siena in the heart of Chianti, Tuscany. The estate practices sustainable and organic farming across its vineyards, prioritising minimal intervention and low chemical use to reflect the unique Tuscan terroir. 

This is the incredible 2001 Spoiano vin santo made from hand-harvested bunches that were laid out on straw mats concentrating natural sugars and acids before undergoing over 6 years of ageing in small oak barrels. An extremely intense and complex dessert wine featuring dried fig, sultana, toasted hazelnut, orange marmalade, dark caramel and walnut notes that last for minutes on the palate.
