Wein Goutte! is the project of Emily Campeau and Christoph Müller. Emily is the Wine Director of Restaurant Candide in Montreal and Christoph is a graduate of Oenology and Viticulture from Neustadt in Germany who after working for Clemens Busch for a few years is now at Weninger on the Austro-Hungarian border.
Panic on the Boat is a very lightly extracted red/rosato made from biodynamic Pinot Noir and Zweigelt. The grapes were fermented on skins for 4 days before pressing off into old oak barrels for 11 months. This is an ethereal and lifted wine with heady souk spice aromas and generous sweet fruit on the surprisingly long and powerful palate.
